RE: DOG ART- A few of the Pet Portrait commissions that I have done for you animal lovers ;)

Damn, i love your spray painting technique! do you make a lot of stencils when prepping for a painting?

As for the subject, well... no unconditional love is as unconditional as love between an owner and a pet. And you captures that love in the dogs' eyes perfectly.

Thank you. Yes, I make a lot of stencils. I have got a large portfolio binder full of them. I'm always thinning them out to make more room for better stencils. This is also why I have huge stacks of cardboard in my closet. I have been saving cereal boxes, neighbors beer and soda boxes, and pretty much anything with thin cardboard.

I plan on growing my collection of celebrity stencils to set up at a festival somewhere and make portraits live. So far I only have John Wayne, Chuck Norris, MLK, Einstein, Tesla, Marilyn Monroe, Steven Tyler, Blues Brothers, and a few others. They were all just left over from commissions or goofing off.

My biggest problem has been trying to set up a more portable kit for spray painting. As it is now i am lugging around like 3 big ole bags, and that is without carrying what I am painting on. I'm probably going to go buy a little wagon. lol I could just roll around and if people ask me what I am doing I could say, "I'm wagon taggin'"

Thank you for your kind words and the re-steem as well.

oh yeah, carrying all these cans, you might have to downsize to basic colors for portability... or build a custom container on wheels... i've done a fair share of body painting for events, and i used airbrush with a couple dozen stencils. but to transfer everything i used large tool boxes on wheels from home depot

I have tried downsizing, but have a hard time bringing less than 12 colors since I usually don't know what I am going to want to do once I get on location.

If I was more tech savvy I would program a motorized wagon to follow me around with my supplies. Lol

Until then I will have to look into some of these boxes on wheels.

this one looks pretty sturdy. Mine is a bit smaller but fits a lot
