The scorpion is a rather curious creature and has always called me curiosity, besides it is seen as the symbol of the god of Fire Xiuhtecuhtli, because its sting produces a burning pain.
These small but dangerous animals are also related to death, by associating them with Mictlantecuhtli, the god of the dead, the depths and the Darkness.
