A work in progress

I built this larger vessel out of wheelthrown parts, and assembled them together during the leatherhard stage. This type of ceramic building is my favourite stage of the game; when I can see all the seperate parts (like building with lego during my childhood) and can feel free to assemble the full structure as I go. It is very free style method and sometimes my ideas change or develop as I work, instead or having a preconceived notion about the final product.

This particular sculpture/vessel form is made from cone 6 'cinnamon' stoneware.
