Do creative people experience the world differently?
Hello Creatives!
I've just finished reading an amazing article on the subject of creativity. I summarize it here:
Research now proves that creative people really do see the world differently. It never ceases to amaze how we humans have believed something was true just because we said it was true. Example: creative people are wired differently. Now scientific research has proof creative people see the world different than non creatives.

There are several examples of the test administered within the article. I'm sharing one of those test that you can administer yourself here:
Pablo Picasso once said:
Others have seen what is and asked why. I have seen what could be and asked why not.
Picasso in that solitary quote sums up how creatives are different, they see things the rest of us do not and ask, why not.
Excerpt from article summarizing experiment shown in the video above:
During the video, a person in a gorilla costume wanders into centre stage, indulges in a little chest-beating, and then schleps off again. Did you see it? If not, you are not alone. Roughly half of the 192 participants in the original study completely failed to see the costumed figure.
I could go on and on however if you are interested in the research, follow this link to check it out. https://theconversation.com/people-with-creative-personalities-really-do-see-the-world-differently-77083
