'Iris in the Skye'

Thank you for visiting.  Cheers.

For those interested in the details.......

The original photograph of the skye presented several possibilities, after turning the photograph every which way....there seemed only one way of working from the photograph.  The image from a flower perspective is ideal with the rays from the sun coming out from behind the cloud.....it is full of potential.....it was the Iris that came to mind with its clear and easily recognisable profile.

Although we will not see them in the garden until Summer, they can be enjoyed for now as artwork.

Thank you for your interest.

Kind Regards, bleujay

Hi @bentleycapital, interesting artwork, first when I say the final result I was wondering if you used craquelure technique. But then watching the phase of your work process I thought if you used digital art. You have very good imagination, you can read or interpret the clouds like we used to do when we were children. Thanks for your nice art work, Cheers :)

Greetings @stef1.

Appreciate you dropping by for a cuppa. ^__^

Thank you for your kind words regarding the digital artwork.

Apologies, I did forget to add in the details;

.......the part about how varied and many the digital tools on offer in the app world for photo-editing......and thus an outlet for anyone's artisitic endeavours.

Thank you for your assistance. ^__^

Yes....the very thing...interpreting the clouds and the other....looking at fine art and writing a poem or story to go with........

All the best to you.

Cheers.

Wow, look at those colors. Beautiful work.

Thank you @rockykelley for your kind words.

So happy to hear you enjoyed the work.

All the best.

Cheers.

Love the way the clouds appear in the petals! Great graphic qualities too.

Thank you for your kind artistic reply @kathleenscarboro.

Had not thought of graphics......just knew it had turned out a bit different....as they do.

Appreciate you stopping by.

Cheers.

Great artwork

Thank you @mathias240 for your kind comment.

beautiful art!:) good idea!:)

wowwwwwwwwwww??? Amazing photography my friends @bentleycapital

Thank you @marcosteem.

I don't know how I missed this one!! I think I'm suffering from I don't know what day it is lately. I have too much stress right now and I definitely need a diversion or solitude.

I am amazed at your creativity and how the original photo drew you to create the Iris. My favorite is transition III - for some reason I like how the flower is outside the lines.

Very pretty choice of color!

Thank you for stopping by @countrygirl.

Please no worries.....life sometimes comes along and says 'Come away with me.'

So glad you enjoyed the artwork.....ah yes....about the outside the lines bit.....bleujay hears that from time to time.....so it is presented. ^__^

All the best.

Cheers.
