JFK Pencil Drawing

I drew this pic of John F. Kennedy a while back. I’m not into politics, at all, but I drew homeboy anyway. I was interested in his deep set eyes. His fat head was a challenge and trying to show some sort of bone structure in his cheeks was virtually impossible but I think I pulled of some depth. The highlight on the side of his head really seemed to make the drawing pop.

I used a gauntlet of random pencils from a 4h to a 6b, a white charcoal pencil, and a little bit of a blue prismacolor pencil in the eyes. Drawn on Strathmore toned gray paper.
