Burn wood with electricity to create fractal patterns of tree branches.
Paul Lemiski is a Canadian carpenter from Canadian Woodworks in Oto which uses electricity to burn a wooden board to create tree shapes. This type of pattern is known as the Lichtenberg figure or even electrical arborescences.
To do this, a large electrostatic discharge is sent to the surface of the wooden board. At its contact, flames create and disperse on the support, creating branches and leaves.
The result is really satisfying and beautiful
