How are you today? Meet me again in the Original Art article #005. On this occasion I will draw a chameleon sketch. Not only showing the results of the sketch I made, but I will also share how I made the sketch.

Speaking of chameleons, he is a very unique animal. Animals that are able to adjust their body color according to their surroundings make their prey unaware of their existence. I'm sure you also know about the uniqueness of this animal, so let's just start drawing.

Tools and materials :

For the tools and materials that I use in drawing chameleon sketches, it is very simple and of course it is very easy for you to find it in the material store around where you live.

  1. Paper
  2. Pencil
  3. Pen
  4. Colored pencils
  5. Eraser

How do I make it?

Here I will draw a chameleon standing on a wooden branch. And as usual, I will start by drawing the eyes and also the head first.

Then proceed with drawing the left hand and body from the left side of the chameleon.

Then I draw the chameleon's left leg. But it doesn't look perfect, because I will make the chameleon's legs as if hugging a tree branch.

Then I drew a tree branch just below the chameleon.

After that I draw a long chameleon tail, but I don't need to draw it in a long size, because here I will draw the tail that is folded into a round.

Then I drew the chameleon's right foot and also the right hand of the chameleon holding a wooden branch. and a chameleon sketch is formed.

After all that, I immediately made the colors thicker so that the chameleon sketch looked real. And the result ... wow

Here is the coloring that I am trying to do:

And that's how I draw a chameleon sketch, for the results you can see for yourself in the pictures above. What do you think? Please provide your comments below and see you later.
