"Butterfly and Zinnias" (watercolor)
Trying to keep up with @reddust ! 😉 She seems to love to paint butterflies and seriously I started this watercolor months ago, put it aside, then took it out to finish it a few days ago.

Sometimes I struggle with adjusting the colors of the digital images of the paintings I post. This one was a toughy, and it's still not right. Close, but no cigar. I think reds are the most difficult to correct. The greens are no picnic either. Consequently, I'm reminded of the lyrics "Ain't nothing like the real thing, baby!"
