¡Jesus Christ Superstar in Barcelona this weekend! SEWARD + Jordi Oriol

This weekend we premiered our reinterpretation (or perversion) of the famous rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar by Lloyd Webber!

This commission for the L'Auditori of Barcelona Escenes has  led us to join forces and creativity with the actor and playwright Jordi  Oriol.

They were several weeks of intense work, especially the latter  practically locked in the halls of L'Auditori working on the  reinterpretation of music, the design of stages, lights, costumes, and  dramatic lines.

We will be in scene Seward (Adriano Galante, Juan R. Berbin, Jordi  Matas, Marcel.li Bayer and who writes) together with Jordi Oriol.

"This  interpretation of the famous musical will extend its electric and hairy  tentacles through the Tete Montoliu Hall 3 of the Auditori de  Barcelona,

to experiment with sound and stage formats, moving away  from any previous production of the musical and becoming a deux ex  machina formed by different moving  bodies accompanied by all kinds of instruments and characters emanating  from one voice.Seward and Jordi Oriol have had Sebas Brosa for the  design of costumes and set design, Panxii Badii for sound design and  David Bofarull for lighting design ,  essential elements to be able to transmit your vision different from  this classic SEWARD RISE SUPERSTAR, in the Mane of Jordi Oriol opens  this Friday the 16th at the Auditori de Barcelona at 20.00 and can only  be seen until this Sunday 18th.
