Reflection On Waiting

And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in you. ~Psalm 39:7
For what do you wait? For what do you hope?

You do it to live. If you give up on waiting and hoping, the pain of uncertainty, conflict, or loss will kill you.

You do it because you believe in better things and better times to come.

You do it because you have faith that this momentary suffering is preparing you for an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison.

You do it because you trust in the One who promised is faithful.
