What is a Mandala?
A complex abstract design which is usually circular in form is commonly known as Mandala. 'Mandala is a sanskrit word which means 'Circle'.
These Mandalas generally have one identifiable center point, from which emanates an array of symbols, shapes and forms.

Normally, Mandala contains a recognizable images that carries the meaning for the person who is creating it. They can contain both geometric and organic shapes.

Designing your own Mandalas can be both inpirational and therapeatic as Mandalas represent the connection between our inner worlds and outer reality.
CREATE YOUR OWN MANDALA
Drawing a Mandala and coloring it can be a highly enriching personal experience in which you lool inside yourself and find the shapes, colours, and patterns to represent anything from your current state of mind. If you are drawing a Mandala, think of it as an echo of your soul.
They are great tools for meditation and self awareness. Anyone can design a Mandala to symbolize a state of mind that you would like to achieve. For the spiritual practices different cultures around the world uses Mandala.
Your Mandala is yours, and you have the freedom to use your creativity to create a Mandala. You have the freedom to choose whatever shapes and colors that you feel express your sense of self anf your view of reality.
Once you know the basic steps of how to draw a mandala, you can try now new designs and new colors rach time you draw a new mandala.
