About Ligel

Ligel, an American artist born in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, in 1982, has crafted a remarkable career in the arts. After earning his MFA from RMIT University in 2013, Ligel now shares his knowledge as an adjunct professor at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design (RMCAD). He resides in New York City, where he creates stunning artworks in his Bronx studio. Currently, Ligel is completing his doctoral studies at Columbia University’s Teachers College.
