Cyborg #7

in #art25 days ago

Like the rest of the world, I've been playing around with AI generated art. In my case, I've been using Stable Diffusion UI. Stable Diffusion UI is an easy to install variant of Stable Diffusion that also includes a graphical user interface. I was able to get running on both Windows and Linux without much effort. While the included GUI is a nice convenience, the easy install was what appealed to me the most.

To get speedy results you need a decent GPU. However, you don't need a GPU to use Stable Diffusion UI as long as you have patience. If you don't have a GPU and use only the CPU, each image will take a long time to produce. It can take thirty minutes or more depending on your hardware and the settings you use. However, this is open source software so you can generate as many images as you want for free. The end result is that even with limited hardware, you can still produce unlimited images as long as you are patient.

The main difference between the "cyberpunk" images and the "cyborg" images I have been posting have to do with the specific prompts I am using. A cyberpunk image always has that word in the prompt. A cyborg image will not have "cyberpunk" but instead something like "cyborg" (obviously) or in this case "cybernetically enhanced".

Including "cybernetically enhanced" in the prompt most often makes the images look disturbing or downright malevolent. However, this one doesn't come across looking so evil. But maybe it is just trying to trick me with those bunny ear shadows...
