The result of shading using a pencil gives the impression of a clear and apparent shaped side of the object, as well as giving a shadow effect, such as hair, nose, around the temple of the eye, and every curve on the head.

Hatching can be done using various types of pencils according to drawing needs such as H & B, HB, 2B, 3B, pencil ... etc until the charcoal pencil also exists, the more complete the drawing tools we will be the more maximal. For this type of paper, I recommend using HVS paper, as it is simple and has smaller pores, resulting in a smoother and more pleasing paper surface for shading. but we can also use thicker paper such as carton types, or picture books, of good quality. It all depends on your needs.
