3D Modeling Using BLENDER
Last year I was very eager to learn how to do Animation or 3D Modeling. So I searched on Youtube for some tutorials. Luckily I found this channel:
https://www.youtube.com/user/tutor4u
That channel has very good quality video tutorials in making 3D objects. He very well explained every actions he made in the process of 3d modeling. He is using Blender - a free 3D animator/modeling software. Aside from modeling or animation it can also be used to edit videos - all in 1 software.
One of his video tutorials was how to make a 3D Ukelele. It was a 4-part video guide just to make the object. It was long because as I said earlier he explained every actions during the modeling process. It is especially good for beginners or first time users of the Blender application. He also have some videos for advanced artists.
Photos below are made by me following the tutor4u's tutorials in progression. I also followed the view during rendering.
Body of the ukelele was first made.
Next adding the handle.
Next adding the screws and strings
Final output.
It is very awesome. You should try too. Texturing is also part of his video that is why you get that realistic look. Interesting isn't it?
Blender is a free software.
