Firstly, amazing train painting I love it, it feels magical.
Second I am also obsessed with the concept of time and time travel. I often feel that time travel , if it existed, would need to work in parallel universes so if one were to change an event in the past time line they simply make a new timeline or parallel and then would have to exist in that one.
