New Painting. Acrylic on Canvas.

This is St. Lucy. Well, my dramatic, artistic take on her.

She actually took me a couple weeks to paint. Usually I can pop out my paintings pretty quickly because I have an image in my mind long before brush connects with canvas.
Painting for me is like a release. I have so many feelings, uneasy emotions and when I finish a piece, it feels like a satisfying purge of unnecessary energy.

I paint a lot. Every day. But I usually don’t like to share it.

St. Lucy was an amazing person.
I’ll write her story soon. Just wanted to share this quickly.
