Evolution in the artistic drawing / Second Part: Improvements in the techniques of Shading
Hello, how about people ?, I hope with all my heart that they are great. In the past I made a post with the first drawings I made when I entered the world of art and under the guidance of an artist. Here I bring you the 2nd part of my evolution in artistic drawing. Then I will realize the 3rd part, but already venturing into the use of colors.
Without anything else to say, and without so much script or preambles, here are the memories captured:
A walk through the memories captured on paper:
1. The Rose
This time there were a thousand roses for me or for you, however, if only one drawn with much love. Using the gradient and the Diffusion as main axes.
2. A strange pose
It is said that hands are what most people hate to draw, for this same reason I always challenge them to work them, because I think something must be perfected. Each pose, each corporal expression has its symbolism and its attraction. This drawing was the first I made after leaving for 2 and a half months at the academy, I remember that a friend arrived that day to give me something and I referred to this drawing as "La mano Chueca".
3. Light that illuminates our eyes
Very well, I know I already made a post of this drawing, but I had to mention it here, it is part of my evolution as an artist, because it is the first time I use the lines for such a Surrealist drawing (which begins to be defined as my favorite artistic movement). The lines in combination with the blurring of the shadows represent a challenge even if it is not visible to the naked eye. And well, the name is due to the hope that is hidden in the eyes and that can not avoid shining thanks to the sparks that it gives off.
4. Drawing by means of a stroke already made
What was born as a simple drawing without a special purpose other than to help me practice shading I end up becoming one of my favorite works. Again, I draw a hand, and I no longer hate them, I think that with this drawing I began to love them. Although I admit that the marker that holds the hand looks more like a pencil because its surface I stay more like it was wood instead of plastic, an aspect that although I do not bother because I liked the finish, if I should improve.
5. Holding hands
I think this is the second time I show a drawing that already had its corresponding post, but again; It is a fundamental step in my evolution as a draftsman, and certainly a very interesting one. Already with this drawing I love making hands, I loved the way in which each one expressed a different feeling. All together with the use of not only a diffuser, but two different types and a better use of drawing pencils.
Materials
Un ingeniero o un arquitecto no es nada sin sus herramientas y un artista no es la excepción. Les muestro mis herramientas:
-Pencils B: The most indicated for dense shadows and for the most artistic finish.
-Pencils H: To make the sketches there is no better than the H pencils and their respective scales.
-Erasers and Cleatypes: The best way to correct an error or make changes with respect to the light of an object or the light that is reflected. The brightness corresponds to a fundamental part of the drawing that tries to be more realistic, because the details are everything.
very interesting pieces, and i can certainly see the evolution in your arts !
