Magic Tree --- digital painting

After I met first time a peruvian shaman I was so impressed, I couldn´t stop drawing. For a shaman, a person who wants to discover himself, has to practise his own art - and not only that - develop ones own dance and a personal song or, even better: a personal way of singing and dancing. Of course, this could also mean to play a music-instrument. So I bought myself a didgeridoo - a small one, which means: it´s short. Singing and dancing a few minutes on my own is just the best to do after a session of yoga - or before. But I still don´t manage the didgeridoo. Therefor my phantasy is flowing openly, when I take a pen. The shaman told me, that he learned with the plants and trees mostly. He was right from the Amazonas, Don Agustín, from Iquitos, and he sad that in practise this means, he is choosing a tree (or the tree calls him - I don´t really know about this detail) and than he lives with the tree for a very long time. Like each plant or tree is different, so the melting point between him and the plant is always special. He sad, he even consumes plants known for its poison and possible lethal effect - and none ever harmed him. He sad this challenge - if you have given your best - allows you to know the plant by heart. This is the base to know the medicins a shaman applies. But learning doesn´t stop at this point, he said, no, for a shaman this is only one step in the process. He gave me a very warmhearted smile. I felt so grateful. It was a wonderful encounter. I felt very stimulated. Because of this, I imagened myself inside a tree and I felt surounded by spirits and unknown possibilitys.
