Bitcoin art? Sure, why not!

Yep, the image above is not an extraordinary painting, that sells for a million dollars, created by me, by sitting countless hours in front of my canvas. What it is, is a Bitcoin graph from my trading platform, with the Daniel Knight filter applied to it by the Deep Dream Generator.

The Wikipedia article about Deep Dream directs us towards the Google created algorithm. The original code comes from a convolutional network named "inception" (yep, after the movie!), but at one point Google opened up their code to the public by making it open-source and various web-apps have popped up since.

I checked around a little, but stuck on this one somehow.. i guess what they say, is true - first impression matter. And i grew to like my first image immediately:

Now, I consider myself a stranger to art, i think that when i was younger, an elephant stepped on my sense of art. But this image clicked with me immediately. Maybe it was just because i had actually been in this very place, written about it?

I started to think of other photos to use on the Deep Dream Generator.

You already saw the famous Bitcoin chart art in the title image. How could a Bitcoin chart look so beautiful is beyond me. And since no chart is always going up, let's get some red in there. Here's the Bitcoin 5-minute chart from Friday, when it's giving up its gains. Red!

So what else can i artify? (Is artify a real word or did i just make it up?)

You know what i cannot stop thinking about? How the Terminator would look if it was a painting? Not any of that new stuff, i mean the oldies - The Terminator, T2 - Judgment Day. Let's hook it up - here's Arnold looking like a million dollar art with the "Cold Day" filter applied to him. Any bidders? I tried various filters, some of which made him look too dreamy, some made him look like he was sitting on a sledge in winter, but you just can't beat the grim blue Arnold.

Here are the ghastly Star Wars AT-AT walkers approaching (AT-AT stands for All-Terrain Armored Transport). But look at that cute baby walker in the back. On day he will be as monstrous as his parents, hopefully.

While we're doing movies, can you guess what this is? Yep, it's the One Ring

Let us step away from the movies now and step into the world of whisky. This creepy underground tunnel is actually the Jack Daniels Distillery storage. Who doesn't like Jack Daniels?

Of course, i have to re-do a screenshot of the game i am currently playing. Deep dreamify it at once, you say? Here you go! This is the creepy Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, with Autumn Aurora 2 GFX overhaul mod attached. Looks rather nice, doesn't it? If you have played the game, then you know that the original scenery has a nuclear disaster vibe all over it.
