Bee Keeper #1 // Tiny Print and Sticker Series // Artwork of Gabriel Maharshi
My Debut into Printmaking
I have been studying visual art and design for a few years now and finally feel that I have found a medium that I can express another part of myself with.
I present to you "Bee Keeper #1" a set of numbered tiny prints and sticker sets inspired by my fascination with death and patterns in nature.
These prints were made using the old fashioned technique of hand cutting block stamps.
These prints are all stamped one at a time by hand, and then cut to size individually. A labor intensive process that leaves each piece completely unique.
I have always wanted to design stickers and now I couldn't be happier with the result.
I have a fascination with math and its consistency with nature and natural patterns.
This picture feels good.
It is incredible to me that such simple lines and forms can invoke such strong feelings within us.
Thank you for taking the time to view my work. Feel free to reach out in the comments to ask me about my work or make requests.
