Miniatures - " A sad tale about an impossible business"

in #art8 years ago

This is a history about a project I've started 2 years ago, the idea was make miniatures and the goal was produce it in a small scale production.

Sadly the project died one year ago, no way to reproduce the pieces, nobody has knowledge for that.

The only thing was possible is the creative process, the digital artworks that I've made

Here is the logo for the project also the name I adopted for that :

The first piece I've made was a soldier that slaying zombies :

But what is the major point of this post ?

First: I learnt a lot with that, Try something that We need to create always has returns, in the case of art We receiving knowledge , but there are a lot of other areas that We learn with that.

Second: Before invest time or money on something look further for the problems, I never researched the ways to produce the pieces before made that. So I've spend time and money to print the prototypes.

Third: Do something from pleasure never bring frustration! So do what you love, and believe in that no matter if You got the same problem as I am.

Did you consider to release them on a platform like Thingiverse ?

You could add a link in your Steemit post to the zip file from Thingiverse.

Maybe this is a way of reviving this awesome work!

On my Steemit and Thingiverse account i also share free to download 3d printing projects.

And its always nice to see the models you made printed and enjoyed by people over the world.
