Raphael was born on 6 April 1483. He died on the same day in 1520.
He was one of the three most famous painters in renaissance age.Da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael. Moreover, he is accepted as the best painter and architect. He was called master when he was 17.
Michelangelo was angry when " Prince of the painters" was noticed by Vatikan with his work and symphatic behaviour and got the most important work in Rome and decorated Pope's buildings with wallpaintings that were definitely have the style of Michelangelo.
Not only putting Michelangelo's face to a lonely and grumpy character on a painting, but also an ambassador's saying that Sistine Chapel was decorated by Raphael, made Michelangelo crazy.
Raphael was very fond of women. He was sick after a night with his lover Luti whom he made two paintings for. He was ashamed to tell the reason to the doctors and died because of wrong cures.
Michelangelo was popular again after his death.
