Trying to build up the courage for a comic
A few small tests for a comic I'm working to one day make a reality. My initial inspiration came from manga I enjoy, such as Berserk and Blame, mixed with various other influences such as old movies like Blade Runner. I hope to create something truly original and fun and to share my progress with all my fellow Steemians!
For now, I'll post small updates and tests as I work my way up to fully fleshed out panels.

Possible design for the protagonist
A young woman going by the name of Echo, she wakes to find herself in an artificial body, surrounded by a world overgrown and ruled by nature, the remnants of her past life and society buried deep beneath the trees.
Life
The inhabitants of this world spread themselves out within the middle layers and branches of the trees, gaining food and shelter from the plant life, and being up high enough to avoid any nasty beasts below.

I do comic like posts all the time. I mainly use it to express myself and what is going on in my life at the moment. I never give much thought how it looks as long as I get my message across....and then I find you....and this post...and you make me want to slap some sense into you!!! This is gorgeous! Why wait at all? What courage is needed? O.o
I do have a suggestion already. Echo. Yes, sounds eerie and mysterious and "cool". BUT also sounds washed up and not original. Gives the character "special snowflake" label right from the start. Just a thought. At the end, I will be following, even if you named her Supergirl IV. Stuning work! :)
