Rain Water (2nd solar term) passed, and spring returned to the river bank. the temperature has gone up again, and it is the moment that many birds come back from the south, including mandarin Ducks. And they have been a symbol of love . I admire them flying together in the world. Today I would like to share with you the painting--mandarin ducks, which was inspired by a poem from Song Dynasty. It described scenes of Chinese women picking lotus seeds and told us that don't go on farther, because there are mandarin ducks playing in the pond, don't disturb them.

Material 工具:

Chinese brushes
Chinese painting color :
Xuan Paper (raw)
Chinese ink
Wool felt
Small tray for washing brushes

The Process:

beautiful

Amazing! Really beautiful!

I would put it straight on my wall, @helene! Birds remind me of freedom and spring :) Beautiful.

thanks for sharing us the process of the painting, its really nice to see the progression of the art, it adds a real sense of authenticity to it when the medium is so tangible.
