I don’t draw people because people change... or so I thought

It's Saturday! It's a been a while since I posted in my blog, the last time I did was when I was still new to this platform and didn't know what the heck I was doing. But honestly, the real reason I decided to publish this post here is to ensure that no one actually sees what I’m about to share.

However, I felt compelled to post this because I wanted to document the things I started doing when I joined Steemit. It was this platform and its community that made this possible for me. I don’t usually draw—I’m not particularly good at it, and I’ve come to terms with that. My siblings were all talented artists, except for me. I was the only one who didn’t seem to win that lottery—until today. I’m not claiming to be great at it now, but at least I can say I can draw.

I don’t draw people because people change—I’ve told myself that many times. But I guess I’m one of those people who 'changed,' which is why I’m doing this now. So, in a way, that kind of backfired on me. 🫤

It’s Saturday, and I don’t have much to do. I wanted to catch up on my reading, but I wasn’t in the mood, so I decided to draw something instead. So, uhh...here it is:

I know I messed up in many ways here, but so what? At least I made our old man Alf Landon look much younger in my drawing. Apparently, it wasn’t an exact match—but that’s just how it is. People rarely look exactly the way they seem. Okay, that was a lame excuse.
