Walk of Hope's Coconut and Bamboo Crafts/Innovations
Freshly in from the ongoing creating livelihood workshop in Bayawan City, @flabbergast-art today has been sending me these bamboo and coconut innovation photos he've just made. Visiting them last June, scattered around Tatay Dagsa's place were driftwood of bamboos and coconut shells, ready to be made of whatever crafts they wanted to do. This include friends just making anything they can think of like bird-callers, flutes and even bamboo speakers, to name a few.
They are lightweight with just a bit bulk, ideal as a hiking and camping utensils. As he was talking of innovations, perhaps he could include a pair of coco spoon and fork like those we were using at Dagsa's before. Those would be a great addition to the mix.
If anyone is interested, in one bag will cost $12 plus postage. Walk-in is not possible as he will be leaving soon for our Creating Livelihood workshop in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental this Sunday.
