Oak leaves - autumn tribute. Original art in watercolor and ink, process inside:) (Plus some Lasik thoughts update)

in #art7 years ago

Hi, guys!:)

Autumn finally came to my city with full force. I said a lot of times that it's my favorite time of the year: it's not hot anymore, long scarfs and warm jumpers are available to wear, a lot of hot tea and great books are waiting to be drank and read:)

Usually I don't paint nature much. But this year I decided to create a little series of autumn leaves. To mention here - a week ago plain air was something mysterious for me. Yes, I went drawing outside, but never truthfully understood what for. Now, as you know, on Monday I made Lasik eyes surgery and received 100% vision as a result, so now I understand...

Some people say that after Lasik they saw people faces, and they were angry (faces), so they got really upset. Believe me, in my country looking angry is normal, and it felt so good when I went to Europe tour and saw everybody smiling in the streets. That's definitely something our people have to learn ho to do. But anyway, as a highly introverted person I wasn't looking at people at first place. But I finally truthfully saw the beauty of nature.

Now I can say for sure that I actually never saw it before. And I'm happy to have the possibility now. And now I dream that I'll still be able to go to plain air this year, until it will get too cold, at least to give it a try, to transform nature to the canvas with these new eyes:)

And the process:

I wish you all the best and will be happy if you'll support me with vote:)

Love, Inber
