The Mind Bending Art Of Mike Winkelmann!
"Your mind is totally controlled,
it has been stuffed into my mold
and you will do as you are told,
until the rights to you are sold"
That Frank Zappa quote sums up the way I feel about what artist Mike Winkelmann does to my brain!
To understand the level of intensity Mike Winkelmann works at, I first had to realize that Mike has been building his collection of artwork for at least the last 10 years straight and has not missed a single day of creating works from scratch, like the images featured below. Even I have been known to miss a few day's from work here and there every so often and I consider myself to be an iron horse. Iron Mike works as a graphic designer, artist, and videographer.
Using various tools such as Cinema 4D rather than trying to learn new software Mike will be focusing on fundamentals like color composition and value which in my estimate are spot-on as is all of Mike's artwork. Plus any artist that is using crypto in their art work the way Mike uses a Bitcoin in the images below is ok with me!
Winkelmanns collection is nothing short of dynamic, creative and imaginative. Countless ideas for cartoons comic books or stories are wrapped up inside the images presented by artist Mike Winkelmann who graciously shares his ability under the Creative Commons license for sharing images and artwork. As I said before Mike has been doing this every single day for 10 years and has accumulated over 3,000 images in a series entitled "Everyday's"
Mike's Creative Commons illustrations and drawings have been used by artists like Skrillex, Tiesto, Amon Tobin as well as others. Winkelmann has had short films screened at a variety of film festivals and as I discover more about Mike, the more I can appreciate looking over his portfolio of exceptional work which I want to share with my friends on Steemit today.
Mike reminds us to all,
"Sit the fuck down and do your work"
Seems like the above mentioned comment is a concept that is long over due and should be adopted by more people in this day and age! In our day and age it is never been so easy thanks to computers, everybody is trying to vicariously live through somebody else's experience or success. Many problems in our world can be solved with a go get it attitude and a roll up you're sleeves mentality presented by artist Mike Winkelmann and his endless collection of screen rendered digital gems. I think it is refreshing to come across an artist who is still connected to the streets and recognize's what artwork is really all about, staying connected to minds and reaching as many people as possible.

This Amazing art from Mike Winkelmann is an awesome addition to the quality content, and truly mindbending
It's like seeing artwork from another planet. Thanks for sharing these. Keep up the good work!
Amazing as usual man. Great article and wonderful pictures. You are one of the best curators of art anywhere!
Thank's man, hope all is well? How is the land of salad?
I'm impressed by the dedication! I paint just about every day,but I don't create a painting every day lol One of my pieces took over 500 hours, and over 100 isn't unusual. Sometimes I do little simple ones in a day, but not every day lol
Painting and screen rending art are not the same thing, still I know what you mean, do you have a link to one of your works?
This is a recent one that took me right around 180 hours, "Knossos Gnosis" - 32 inches diameter, acrylic paint on canvas :) Here's the post with the story behind it -

Do you list prices and sell you're work?
I do, this one was for a patron so it;s sold already, however I have around 100 original paintings currently available in 2 styles - Mandalas and a style inspired by 80's video games and designs in 80's fashion and things like Lisa Frank school supplies. I also have my designs on silk scarves, woven heirloom blankets, prints, wall hangings, tote bags and more @ https://www.nexusvisions.com/art
Thank the Universe for the creative.

the corporations has the masses fattening in a virtual reality of which they are prisoners and take advantage of that information to control everything
Mesmerizing. The present and future us is dark. We are the pigs, the skeletons, the hollow figures who wander without feeling through the empty space of tech. It is both beautiful and haunting.
Wow. He has a new fan. Love the one with a fairy highway in the forest. As a visual artist I really appreciate this type of art. Thank you for sharing!
Resteemed.
BEEEEEEEEEPle. Nice collection here. He has got to have hundreds and hundreds of pieces after releasing everyday without fail. My favorites are the Pigs at the "Like" trough and the McDonald's in the sky. Thanks for putting him on the blockchain.
BEEPLE! truly an inspiration , man this guy is a machine . Great art with social commentary . The CGI "banksy ".
I liked the one with the mountains and lights. However everything else are amazing as well.
Such passion and dedication.
It definitely inspired me that i should be focusing on my work as well. Having suffered a failed business recently made me depressed.
"Sit the fuck down and do your work"
