ART EXPLOSION WEEK 45: Theme PARADISE - Paradise Island
Hello Fiends!!
PARADISE ISLAND
This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
My Tools:
- Mechanical Pencil.
- HB leads.
- Color Pencils (PrismaColor.)
- Fine Marker.
- Charcoal Pencil.
- Moldable Eraser.
- Graphite Powder.
- Brush.
- A4 Opaline 300G.
The Process:
Make the sketch of the island with HB pencil, once made use a thin marker to make the edges, wanted to try something different and focus on the palm trees.
I also remarked other elements, but mainly the palm trees, i wanted to give it a cartoonish effect.
The next step was to paint the leaves of the palm trees.
I used two shades of green and for the trunk two shades of brown, i was experiencing the mixture of tones.
As this is an experiment, shading the leaves a bit with small dots, i want to combine different techniques to be sure of everything in my future work.
I made the same steps with the other palm trees.
The palm trees are ready, now i am going to illustrate the background, i started with the sand on the beach, painting some elements.
To paint the sand i made a mixture between different shades of yellow and brown, painting in a horizontal direction to give texture.
Then, i illustrated the rocks in the sea, with the charcoal pencil and the brush i made the texture and volume.
To make the sea, i thought first how to make the sky, so i mixed different shades of blue, green as a reflection of the mountains and purple.
I illustrated the mountains, making small rivers in them, with the graphite powder i made the shadows and then mixing different greens to paint the mountain.
also practice the blur and realism in colors.
This is the Final Art:
I hope you like my draw, thanks.
Until the next time!

good luck on the contest !!!
Thankyou spidey! Glad you like this!
You did a great job drawing this scenery of paradise. I do think about sunny beach and calm seas when I think about the theme. Nice step by step progression as well, I enjoy it! Good job Kenny :D.
It's great that you enjoyed it @scrawly
Nicely done @kennyvaldez! I think many people will imagine a scene similar to your painting while thinking of paradise, nice secluded beach, amidst nature, mountain, trees, clear skies. After all, even if there is an actual paradise after life, it will be nature's creation as well. The painting is so nice, i wish i could book my next holiday there. Any source of inspiration? Or figment of your imagination?
Oye men muy bueno sencillo pero hermoso te felicito
