CHARCOAL DRAWING - ROSE

in #art6 years ago

Hello Friends!

A few months ago i had made a collection, it was based on different flowers represented by a woman, like any good artist i left my work half-baked and i started to draw other things, but i wanted to take it up again and this week i draw:

ROSE

Roses are one of the most used flowers commercially, they are also very beautiful. I usually give roses to my mother in her day, the lovers give roses to his girlfriend, They are also used for birthdays or decorations in centerpieces.

They have many uses and this is because they are very beautiful, they exist in different colors, red, white, blue, black ...

For my next flower of the collection i used the red roses, represented by a slightly older woman but without excluding the beauty that represents it.

The Tools:

  • Mechanical Pencil.
  • Hb Leads.
  • Charcoal Pencil.
  • Brush.
  • Moldable Eraser.
  • Graphite Powder.
  • Color Pencils (PrismaColors)
  • A4 Opaline 300G.

The Process:

  • To begin, i made a simple sketch of a female face, also adding a basic design of roses in her eyes.

  • Then i illustrated his left hand, giving the feeling that he plays with his hair. i used the HB pencil and charcoal to give volume and shadows.

  • In my beginnings in the art world, i started illustrating faces, to have a basic notion of where each element of the face goes, then i illustrate many hands, for years i practiced making hands in different positions and now this is something that I draw very easily.

  • After illustrating both hands, draw your face starting with the lips.

  • The illustration of the face i made with the HB pencil and with the graphite powder and the brush i made the shadows to give volume.

  • After having the base shades on her face, i illustrated the roses in her eyes, which i shaded with the charcoal pencil.

  • The design of the roses is pretty basic. It is a design that I used previously while tattooing.

  • then i began to illustrate the hair. making strokes with the charcoal pencil and leaving some strands of white hair.

  • Finally i made strokes from the root and played a little with the lights, i also made some white hairs.

  • then with the charcoal i made some adjustments in her face, to darken some places that for the graphite were very opaque. And this is the Final Art!

Drawing female faces is very nice for me, it reminds me very much of my beginnings in drawing because the only thing i drew were women.

I hope not to abandon my collection again and finish soon.

Thank you for visiting my post, for enjoying the step by step of my new flower and i hope to meet again!

Until the next time!!

EXCELLENT WORK @kennyvaldex ,nice to see the rose flower on behalf of eyes .I think that's the most prominent one in your drawing.

Thank you! That's right, draw it with colors to make it stand out! thanks for comment
