Astronaut Day-2

After completing my initial sketch of the supposed art, it was time to add some colors.

Since it was a lounge space, I thought to make color bright and kind of neon. I wanted to go with the neon neons, but couldn't find in my town. So I went for the basic acrylic but bright and kind of neon.

I took the inspiration from a great graffiti artist @tenhun. His characters are around space and kind of alien in nature. He has an amazing choice of colors which i really admire. Hence, I decided to go for the same color pallete.

Given the black background, it's necessary to add a base color. I could have gone for white and then painted the whole picture too but I went directly for the needed color. It did took me 3 coats atleast to reach the final stage, but painting it white skipped through my mind.

What do you think ? Would much appreciate the suggestions or any kind of reviews here.. :))
