Surrealism: Waters Edge

Happy Saturday Night,

Sunday Morning!!!

For Saturday Night, I have a picture that I did I call:
"Waters Edge"!

And now the "major steps" to creating this picture, every step would be far too numerous, but these are the most important, so...
Let us begin!

First I had made this from a random photo, at the time the idea was to do something with a "Hot Air Balloon".

I was kinda of stumped about where to go from here so I put a globe in the center and came up with this design which I liked, added a very slight amount of lighting and smoothing adjustments.

I then had the idea to see what pulling out the texture in 3D would get so I tried this, and then played around with color and light.

At this point I wanted to see what would happen if I flattened the picture and added water. This actually gave Me a bit of a landscape. I added water and became pretty satisfied with the general look and color.

I then added in The Moon and all other effects, softened it to even it up, vignette the 3dges and done!
