Furi | Lires Artwork Process | Original Art

Back with another artwork for my artwork process series! Who doesn't like a bad-ass girl with a bad-ass rifle? No one, of course! Furi is an original character of Alexiada Firenze.

References

Good thing I was able to find a 3D version of that rifle! It made making the proportions quite easy.

Sketching

The 3D model of the rifle isn't exact as the rifle in the picture. So I still had a lot of work to do.

Inking

I was able to ink the rifle straight in Manga Studio using the Parallel Ruler.

Rendering in B/W & Applying Gradient Map

Final Product

After some more rendering on the BG, some color adjustments and adding some more tiny details, it's done!
