I'm jumping in with a response, @juliakponsford, correct me if I'm wrong.

This contest doesn't take photography entries anymore, but digitally created art using any program and include photographic images that are worked into a piece, are absolutely welcome.
Check out last weeks winner, she included a self portrait in her entry, juxtaposing her photographic image onto the digital art field, to depict the theme shadow self.

Search #artexplosion for a plethora of past digital art winners, @juliakponsford is a great advocate for inclusiveness in visual art on the blockchain and indeed crypto art. She herself an accomplished experimental digital, visual artist and curator. Her Ocean of art, curation has a combination of traditional and digitally produced works.

Thanks for responding you are pretty spot on! I do accept photography but it's a bit more tricky to verify it was actually done for the contest, if people submit some story and process pics of the shoot with a date verification etc. I would prefer that but I kind of take it on a case by case basis :)

yes any type of visual art is fine as long as you follow the rules in the post!
