The Wave - original photography and writing by @mariandavp
Tomorrow I’ll get over it, I promise.
But today on my tears I will float.
I was frozen, now I am a volcano.
Oh Lord, love is not a blessing.
It seems like yesterday when I wasn’t taller than your knees.
I remember this, because I always hugged your legs every evening when you came back home.
Just like our dog does every night I return from work, and you turn to us from your favorite couch and smile.
No, I meant when you turned to us and smiled.
Now your seat on the couch is empty, just like my chest is.
Vowels are echoing within me as I breathe out.
They told me time heals everything. But what’s left to heal?
I don’t feel anything.
A wave took everything.
Great Writing & Picture!
Almost looks like a painting.
Thanks for sharing & Steem On :)
Thanks a million @jcsteem!
Your photography is a shadow of reality. That is very beautiful.
Thank you @sagor5828
You're most welcome.
Beautiful writing and the photo matches perfectly!
What a sad and at the same time beautiful poem. The words sink into the soul, I want to cry, who lost in this life that will understand. Thank you.
Thank you very much @magnata for taking the time with my post 🌹
nice one keep it up ;)
Thank you!
Very thoughtful post, epically created.
You don't deserve to be sad, shake it off and be happy. Life is short, the best thing you can give yourself is happiness, cos with it comes more positive energies. Thanks for sharing
I can't help but being sad these days. But you are right, life is too short! Thank you for your comment.
You are welcome. Get better hun
What a beautiful photo! You clearly have a very good eye and I can't wait to see more of your art. Also, I love how your poem is so perfectly fitting to the photo. I always like using multiple artforms to enhance a single idea. Beautiful, keep it up!
