Flower of Life - Ink drawing on paper with a fluorescent touch.

in #art7 years ago (edited)

Here's a little throwback to one of my favorite pieces from last year. It took me 20 hours to ink and a bit more to add the fluorescence. If you're interested in owning the original let me know below. I'm only accepting Litecoin and the starting bid is 4 if you'd like to participate. Prints will be available, but at a later date not yet specified and they'll be limited.

The Flower of Life has slightly differing spiritual meanings from culture to culture but its prevalent in many and derives from the seed of life. The oldest surviving example that I could find is in: "The Temple of Osiris at Abydos, Egypt [where] they are at least over 6,000 years old and may date back to as long ago as 10,500 B.C. or earlier." I love the beauty that sacred geometry has to offer us as it constitutes the geometrical laws which create everything in our shared existence.
