Your golden halo bathes us in a warmth of spiritual wisdom, a beautiful haze of positivity and choice, fist raised to the sky, not in anger, but universal solidarity and strength, serving as a reminder to us all that a revolutionary time is upon us. Because much of what we understand about revolution has been and continues to be defined by men, I created this piece to draw focus upon the courageous role that women (and children) play in this politically charged time.
