I love the painting :) I can only advise based on my experience that watercolour painting is all about layers :) try applying few thin layers first and work on that, be careful with the thickness of the paper though.

Thank you for the advice and positive feedback :D And yes, she is loves to cuddle as well, so I feel lucky to have her. ^_^
It looks nice, and I agree with milenamilak, first try with gentle layers, and also if you like to leave wight parts, you can use masking fluid. With aplaying it maybe it will be easier for the begining.
I don't have masking fluid, but I will try to get my hands on that ^_^ Thanks!
