Cardano Foundation, an organization focused on the development of the Cardano blockchain, presented a plan for ecosystem development in the next five years.

According to a presentation published on YouTube, the developers have already achieved results in many areas:

Cardano Registry (completed by 50%).

Blockchain explorer (25%).

Improved technical understanding of the project (~30%).

Launch of the educational program (50%).

Integration Center & Business Models (~27%).

Service for developers (75%).
Formation of an organization (~45%).

Improvement of the whitepaper decentralized project sponsorship method (25%).

At the same time, in 2022, the Cardano Foundation plans to achieve the following results:

To make partnerships with 50 banks.

Add support for three new libraries for Cardano.

Launch the developer service.

To improve the quality of voting through Catalyst.

To increase interpretability for financial inclusion.

Until 2024, according to the head of the Cardano Foundation, Frederick Gregaard, the organization intends to buy ADA tokens by at least three Forbes 500 companies. The organization also intends to increase onchain activity by increasing the number of wallets.

By 2026, the Cardano Foundation plans to increase the ecosystem user base to $1 billion. By that time, Cardano will already be run by the community.

The announcement for the development of the Cardano ecosystem came after the number of addresses for ADA steaking reached a record level of 650,000 units. There are 2,656 active mining pools in the network, and the volume of cryptocurrency in stealing reached $29 billion. That's more than 70% of the total ADA in circulation.
