I was relieved of new jobs and various things, and I came away from steemit for a month, but I am relieved that I have never quit.

Just as I write this time, I'm pretty lost or trying to figure out the direction of my work and it is difficult to post original works of art everyday.

If there is something interesting in addition to the work, I will update it, but it seems to be a while for an irregular update.

However, I will be happy if you can see it occasionally without forsaking m (__) m

Then this theme.

For this time, I will first briefly explain the part which is slightly different from the one from the viewpoint of the method of depicting painting by seeing one work.

Take a look at the work as usual.

In this work I am drawing a slightly different depiction method considering what I want most to see with this picture or what is the most attractive one.

When I thought about something, I thought that this artwork or the charm of my own work is the texture of the skin of the character.

So what kind of description method should be taken to concentrate the consciousness of the person seen in the texture of the skin?

It is to draw a part omitting a part other than the part you want to show as a result.

In the case of this picture, I paint the gray which is the intermediate color by the color of clothes as much as possible and drawing it in a plane.

Doing so will eliminate the stereoscopic effect or realism of the part you are wearing but make sure that the other parts are emphasized and your eyes turn to the facial expression of the characters you want to show and the texture of the skin as a result It is.

With the same intention, I put the highlight on the hair, and it is gathered to the dark tone as a whole.

This depiction method is said to have been used for the first time by a painter named Rune, it is said that running the method of modern painting that seeks visual attractiveness like now.

It was a slightly exaggerated way of saying, but this time it was a story that I am trying to incorporate such a depiction method.

大変ご無沙汰でしたが復活しました(｀・ω・´)

新規の仕事やいろいろなことに追われ気付けば一ヶ月もsteemitから遠ざかってしまいましたが決して辞めてしまったわけではないのでご安心を。

ただ今回書くように、作品の方向性などでかなり迷ったり模索しておりまして今後も毎日作品をオリジナルの作品を掲載するのは難しいです。

作品以外にもなにか面白いことがあれば更新していきますが、不定期更新にしばらくはなりそうです。

ですが見捨てずにたまに見ていただければ幸いですm(__)m

では今回の本題。

今回はまず作品を１つ見ていただいてこれまでとはちょっと違っている部分を絵画の描写方法の観点から簡単に解説します。

とりあえずいつものように作品をご覧ください。

今回の作品は自分がこの絵でなにを一番見て欲しいか、一番の魅力なんなのかをよく考えて普段とはちょっとだけ違う描写方法を取っています。

この絵というか、僕自身の作品の魅力はなにかを考えた時に、キャラクターの肌の質感ではないかと思ったのです。

なのでその肌の質感に見た人の意識を集中させるためにどんな描写方法を取るべきか？

その結果見せたい部分以外の箇所をちょっと省略して描くことです。

この絵の場合は、服の色彩で中間色であるグレーなどを極力なくして平面的に描いています。

そうすることで服を着ている部分の立体感や写実性は無くなりますが、それ以外の部分が強調されて結果的に最も見せたいキャラの表情とか肌の質感に目が向くようにしているんです。

同じような意図で髪の毛にもハイライトを入れないで全体的に暗めのトーンにまとめています。

この描写方法はルネという画家が最初に用いたと言われている描写方法で、今のような視覚的な魅力を求める現代絵画の手法の走りと言われています。

ちょっと大げさな言い方でしたが、今回の作品はそういう描写方法を取り入れてみているというお話でした。
