Comics: Kally's Kitchen - Hamburger Steak
NOTE: This episode was heavily influenced by the Korean culture, so it may be hard for most of you guys to understand certain bits of the comic!
Ingredients 3-4 servings
minced beef 5.3oz (≈150g)
minced pork 5.3oz (≈150g)
onion 1
mushrooms 3
butter 1Tbsp
olive oil a little
Ingredients for meat seasoning
bread crumbs 1/2 cup
egg 1
ketchup 1Tbsp
mustard 1/2Tbsp
minced garlic 1tsp
salt 1/2tsp
pepper a little
Ingredients for sauce
water 1/2 cup
pork cutlet(tonkatsu) sauce 3Tbsp
ketchup 2Tbsp
salt a little
pepper a lttle
- If you don't have a pork cutlet sauce, you can replace it with similar sauces such as demiglace.
Step 1: Chop the mushrooms into quarters vertically. Chop the half of an onion and dice the other half.
Step 2: Heat the pan and apply olive oil. Put diced onions and season them with salt and pepper. Stir-fry them until cooked and let it rest.
Step 3: Mix the fried onions with meat seasoning and thoroughly rub them onto the meat. Divide them into 3-4 pieces and make a flat round shape, and make the center of the pieces a bit more flat.
Step 4: Heat the pan and put some olive oil. Cook both sides of the steak on medium heat while it's golden brown. Then, put a lid on top and lower the heat, making the insides cook slowly.
