Mixed Media Round 2

Hello! Here is another mixed media piece. I use Adobe Photoshop to create most of my work, including this piece. I also use a Wacom tablet for more precise work. I usually start with creating a background, here I went with a tan color. Then I trace out the image I want and use a clipping mask to make further edits. After, I get to the fun details! I add color with different brushes and textures. Here I went with lace detailing. I also play around with layer modes. For one piece of lace I choose linear burn. I also copied the color layer and placed a layer mode on that. To add dimension I copied the image layer twice and added layer modes to both of them and played with the layer order until I got an image I liked. Then as last minute touches I traced her outfit in white on the normal image layer. Finally I found a flower that I liked and placed an layer mode on that as well to add a nature aspect to the product.
