It's the Z-end: Welcome to the Zombie Apocalypse CHAPTER 20

Incredible as it may seem, what I am about to write is a fact, they have just admitted on television that the infected are corpses that have somehow come back to life. The virus, or whatever it was, that was released in Eskisehir causes a total collapse in the nervous system and in all the defenses in general, it is spoken of fever and weakness in the bones followed by hemorrhages and then death. They say that within 2 or 3 hours the dead individual will rise again, but he is no longer one of the infected. It attacks every living thing that crosses its path in an irrational way, does not recognize anyone, does not communicate in any way and does not seem to have criteria. Just attack. And the only way to get rid of them is to destroy their brains.
See, I'm a quiet, calculating, rational guy.... I should just be laughing about this, but I can't. If anything has been proven to me over the past few weeks, it's that anything can happen. And given everything I've seen, I have no doubt that this is true.
Like the bible had a point. The dead will walk the earth again, but they also want to kill us.

While I was having fun writing in my precious diary I thought I heard a noise in the back of the house, in my neighbor's house. I got up almost immediately and very cautiously. It sounded like someone was dragging something heavy. I needed to know what was making that noise, as I could and trying to make as little noise as possible I placed the staircase in the garden and began to creep up as I looked over the edge of the wall. I saw my neighbour, he was dragging some wooden slats like the ones he took me from his house a few days ago. I was completely focused on what he was doing, I saw him sticking the wooden slats into his house and after that I heard the sound of some hammering. When he went out to the yard again, I called him. The man almost had a heart attack.
He's a middle-aged guy, short statured, but big. His name is Serafin and I believe he owns a food distribution company. He lives alone, I think he's divorced and tells me he'll be safer here at home, and to some extent, I think so too. Now he's barricading the doors and windows of his house, in case those things get past his front door. He told me that he has a boat at the Blue Harbour Club and that if things get ugly we can take off on the boat.
I said yes, it may be an option, but inside I think it's an unsafe idea. We don't know if that ship is still there or where we could go.
We agreed to talk in a few hours and say goodbye.
Without a doubt, the feeling I have now is different, it's like relief. I'm not alone, there's someone else around. That reminds me, I was never alone, and neither was he. There's something out there that they're not people anymore, and they have to get closer and closer.

They're already here. I can hear them, I can even see them from the terrace. There are dozens of them, they're everywhere. I never thought I'd see anything like this in my life.
