Hello steemit people! My name is Claudia and I’m an art student from Venezuela!
(Yep, that's me!)
I’ve been wanting to join steemit for a few years but the idea of facing and interacting with other people truly TERRIFIED me. So today I took my leap of faith and with it, the courage to start this new amazing journey.
If you couldn’t tell yet, I’m a very shy person. That is why ever since I can remember I've explored all the other non-speaking ways to tell what it was in my head.
So I started to draw...
And then to paint...
And then, to write about my drawings and paintings...
And finally, I ended up discovering this new world of possibilities beyond than just words and phrases, all through visual messages.
My paintings started from sadness, after that they developed in joy. And yes, here I am, stuck in joy. Forever, I hope.
As you can see I really enjoy painting about childhood. Because for me its a synonym of dreaming and believing.
Right now I can surely affirm that art is my life. And art is the way.
I’m not afraid to say that is all I know.

I’m so glad you decided to brave it.
I find myself drifting towards art about childhood, too. I always blamed by interest with animation on an obsession with the “feeling” of childhood.

Animation is one of my biggest dreams, to be honest! I admire animators with my whole heart, most of all because of their patience, but the final result is amazing.
But now that you mention it, that childhood feeling it's probably the reason why animation movies are my favorites!
I LOVE the final result of animation... the work? Not as much 😆 but I'm trying to learn anyways, I really want to make a short this year.
What's your favorite-favorite movie?
I'm sure you're going to do great, you're very good at it already! I'll be here to watch it with no hesitation.
God, my favorite movie of all times, including all the other possible genres, it's Rise of the Guardians. That movie made me cry out of joy...

My favorite is probably spirited away - but maybe Ponyo. I love EVERYTHING that’s come out of that studio 😄

We missed you in steemit why not start blogging again?
Oh hello there! That's nice of you to ask. I've been meaning to start blogging again but haven't taken the final decision, I'm still thinking about a way to bring my photography into my blogging and also joining the english-speaking Steemit community for good.
Now, my friend @parchi-guaya here is telling me I should come back and start fresh with her, and well, I think I'll be doing that sooner than later :)
You have been out for 9 months @mariacaffrey and if you would like to do an #introduceyourself post for re-introducing, I would be happy and I believe @brittandjosie would be also to feature it in our Hey! Have Ya Met...? blog...
I think they use the #reintroducemyself tag for that I am not sure.

Don't want her to get flagged for perceived vote-farming. I read somewhere that the introduction tag is only to be used once. I could be mistaken. Just heading off a potential problem. I hate crisis-management. 😂

I didn't think it would be that much given the fact that sometimes some pictures don't really have much of a description or a written abstract since it's a visual communication, and to my knowledge (not that it's much LOL) Steemit is all about writing. So, I think I just need some creativity :) I could use all the help haha! It's very nice of you

I know we already met but you need to check these suggestions and take them seriously.
Eight suggestions to consider:
1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, keychain and steemconnect,
3. The master password is only used to reset compromised passwords,
4. DO NOT lose your passwords; copy and store offline,
5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and
be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
7. When you open your steemit.com, in the upper right corner of the page there are 3 bars. Click on those, and then on the "welcome", and you will get a lot of reading material that will help you.
8. Do NOT open any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.
