A Bit of Gravity Falls Fanart
Title: Female Bill Cipher
Year made: 2016
Description: This is my interpretation of a female version of Bill Cipher (the main antagonist) from Gravity Falls, a cartoon aired on Disney from 2012 to 2016. I gave her more traditional feminine elements, such as heels, and a more intricate top hat with a red ribbon and bow above the brim. I also decided to give her black lipstick around her eye, because it seems like his eye acts as all of the emotion in his face besides color/ state changes of his body. I also decided to give her more eyelashes to add to her femininity. I was inspired to draw this because I want to do a cosplay of human female Bill Cipher, and I wondered what it would look like if his original form was female. Made digitally on an iPad in Autodesk.
Title: And Who Said I was Fair?
Year made: 2016
Description: A fanart of Bill Cipher from Gravity falls. This drawing is supposed to give the impression that Bill is almost folding forward to get closer to the viewer's face, much in the same way that someone who's taller than you may tower over you to be intimidating. The title and words aren't a direct quote, but they more describe his overall demeanor. Bill Cipher is a transdimensional dream demon, who is very manipulative and chaotic, his goal being to take over any world, universe, or dimension he can; it's definitely something he WOULD say. He is also glowing a bright gold-yellow color against a black background. Made digitally on an iPad using Autodesk.
Title: Jill Cipher
Year Made: 2016
Description: This is the rough draft for my interpretation of what Bill Cipher would look like as a human female. She has a large pyramid-shaped cage skirt, among many other things reminiscent of the original character. Around her are different symbols from the journals, Bill's quotes, and bits of different code featured in Gravity Falls in general. It's a show with a lot of symbolism, easter eggs, and hidden mysteries, which is why it's one of my favorite cartoons. Drawn with colored pencil, pen, and sharpie in my sketchbook. I'll probably redraw this at some point, and I have a slightly different version of this character, only deconstructed into the plans for a cosplay costume.
