Sounds like high fantasy and...real life not that long ago and sometimes even now :O
And looks like she's going to deal with things in the standard way that people will deal with things when other people are being complete wankers about something. I don't really feel sorry for whoever's going to be on the other end of that knife :)
True, I hadn't thought that this practice is still going on in some parts of today's world. For those of us who lives in first-world countries, some things do feel as if they are high-fantasy stories. Thank you for being insightful and for reminding me that the world is not as narrow as what I can see and feel around my little sphere.
