SOLO travel to jaisalmer ( 2nd day)
(check my previous post first, it's a continuation of my jaisalmer travel diaries).
2nd day was started around 11 am because of the last night. after taking the shower i went upside restaurant to buy a mineral water bottle. i had mentioned you that i don't have that much bucks to have breakfasts from those expensive restaurants. once i entered into the roof top restaurant it's looking very nice with a long view of jaisalmer fort. i ordered for a mineral water from that shop. that pleasant looking manager came up with a chilled mineral water bottle and asked me for anything else. i replied that no !! (only i know that, i don't have that much bucks.. ). then suddenly he told me order some break fast. i replied him again NO!!. this water is enough. then he told me that it's deepawali day (a festival day in india) so i must order some break fast but i don't have to pay anything. it's really shocking for me because i have not seen that guy before and he is offering free food that too he is a restaurant manager.
even i had rejected his offer because i was not able to take anything for free. but he forced me to have something from there. after 5 minutes he brought some tasty bread omelette and juice. it fulfilled my mind more than my tummy. after having that wonderful breakfast i had a talk with him for some time and discussed many things. he was such a kind hearted guy and always looking so pleasant too. he gave me a lot of details about the local places and i didn't forget to take a selfie with him. meeting these kind of people will make you a lot of changes in your life. our perspective will change sometime. it won't be a big thing but still these small small things can change your life easily.
later, i went to patwa haveli and roamed nearby that rest of the time. this patwa haveli has brilliant architectural design. every place has carved with such a beautiful designs. you can see that and astonish yourself.. LOL.
it took more than an hour to roam all around the beautiful haveli. nearby haveli we can see a lot of traditional things. one old man was playing his instrument and i could hear a beautiful music came out of it. he was playing the instrument even without considering the scorching sun to earn his bread. i asked for his permission to take his video and i gave him small amount from my small savings.
later in the evening i reached my hotel room and spent time with my host and his friends. even my room mate italian guy was busy with his readings so i didn't annoy him with my talks. even i could not take any picture of that stylish guy. again went upside to meet that kind manager. ( don't get mistaken, i had food already LOL). till late night we shared some thoughts and travel stories and all those time i was thinking that 'what i will do for them to make happy at least . that thought was with me even when i got to sleep.
to be continued.......
