Painting Winter Trees in Glenorchy, New Zealand
It was a splendid Sunday afternoon for painting outdoors in Glenorchy, New Zealand. It’s winter here and I am getting in some practice at painting winter trees.
Painting outdoors is known as ‘plein air’ painting, a French phrase meaning to paint outdoors.
I painted this artwork in oils on a small canvas panel.
